Ball Field Complex Renovations Phase I
Sealed proposals for the Ball Field Complex Renovations Phase I Project shall be
received by the Township of Hanover at 2731 State Route 18, Hookstown, Pennsylvania,
15050 until 3:00 PM prevailing time on March 8, 2010. The bid encompasses fine grading
and construction of a baseball field including chain link fence, restoration, skinned infield,
signage, an ADA pathway and ADA parking (Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply).
Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the Township of Hanover regular meeting
at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 8, 2010.
Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be obtained at the office of
Widmer Engineering Inc., 806 Lincoln Place, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania 15010, (724) 847-
1696 with a non refundable deposit of $35.00. All bidders requesting specifications to be
mailed shall pay an additional handling fee of $10.00 per set. ONLY CASH PAYMENT IN
EXACT AMOUNT OR CHECK WILL BE ACCEPTED. All mail requests shall be paid in advance.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by either a certified check or Surety Company
bid bond in the amount of not less than ten (10%) of the contract amount. The same
shall be made payable unto the Township of Hanover.
Upon successful award of the contract, a 100% performance, 100% payment and
100% maintenance bond shall be required. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of
sixty (60) days after the time set for the opening of bids.
The Township reserves the right to reject any part of or all proposals, or to waive
any irregularity in the proposal when the Township deems such action advantageous to
the Township.

Complex Renovations – Phase I Project" and addressed to Township of Hanover, 2731
State Route 18, Hookstown, PA 15050.
