Televising
Widmer Engineering Inc. has a complete internal televising system for VHS recording of
the internal condition of both sanitary and storm sewers. The system is complete with a
storm sewer tractor for large diameter pipes down to pipes as small as 8” in diameter.
The TV video van also has a Polaroid camera system enabling us to take instant photos of
problem areas without the need of watching the VHS tape on a monitor and television.
Widmer has televised over 100,000 lineal feet of sewer lines over the past few years for
municipal clients on an on-call or contract basis. Our personnel are available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week to assist municipalities with their internal inspection needs. The
equipment is manufactured by Aries and comes with a rotating head for inspection of
lateral connections. The video recorder is color and the length of cable is 1,200 feet.
We also have additional lighting for the large diameter sewers.
